PRP – Platelet Rich Plasma

PRP (PLATELET RICH PLASMA)

Our body has the power to regenerate and treat tissue in all parts of your skin. Stem cells make this every day of your life. PRP therapy for stem cell rejuvenation, known as the treatment of own blood rejuvenation, is a guiding exercise that uses the power of the treatment of platelets and growth factors in your blood to stimulate stem cell response. These stem cells help create new collagen and blood vessels, restore and improve damaged skin, and slow down and annul the signs of aging.

PRP therapy for stem cell regeneration is a revolutionary method in which a doctor uses a minimum amount of your own blood to rejuvenate the skin. The doctor takes you key cells and proteins that are in your blood and re-injects into your skin, thus promoting the recovery of the skin and subcutaneous tissue. The part of the blood, by which the method was named, is PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) or in translation – platelet-rich plasma. By this process, we naturally stimulate regeneration and tissue recovery on the face, thus reducing wrinkles and improving the tonus of the skin on the face.

In PRP, there are growth factors and your stem cells, along with platelets, which further stimulate the recovery process. Since this treatment uses your own blood, no synthetic substances are injected, and there is no possibility of side effects. The treatment is completely non-toxic, hypoallergenic and does not require recovery time.

PRP tretman

A platelet rich pplasma (A-PRP) is used in aesthetic surgery, orthopedics and dentistry for more than 10 years. Its advantage is that it increases the production of collagen, improves the elasticity, color and thickness of the skin. It also stimulates differentiation and proliferation of stem cells, activates angiogenesis (creating new blood vessels) and gives the skin a voluminous effect. Plasma contains important molecules like blood proteins, hormones, and nutrients that help tissue regeneration.

In order to better understand the needs of each client and discover what treatment or combination of treatment is needed, it is necessary to consult with our team of specialists. PRP therapy does not apply in case of platelet dysfunction, critical thrombocytopenia, haemodynamic instability, autoimmune diseases, sepsis, acute and chronic diseases, pregnancy, chronic liver disease and anticoagulation therapy.

Before the PRP treatment our specialists will, via standard procedure, take out 10 to 20 ml of your blood. The pain you will feel will be minimal and negligible, the same as you feel at the classic blood flow. After that, the doctor will separate the plasma from other ingredients of your blood by a special technique or a high speed spin.

PRP TREATMENT FLOW

The treatment is performed quickly and easily. It consists of taking a small amount of venous blood, which is then centrifuged and mixed with hyaluronic acid. The plasma thus obtained, small and gentle stitches is applied to the skin. The results are visible after 3 doses of PRP, while the full effect is expected over the next months due to the process of creating a new collagen and elastin. During this period the skin is revitalized, becomes softer, elastic and visibly rejuvenated.

For best results, three treatments are recommended. The second one is done after 3 weeks, and the third after 3 months. Treatment results will last up to two years when it is recommended to do a re-treatment.

POST PRP TREATMENT

Immediately after the treatment, there may be redness, swelling and minimal pain in the treated area, which usually disappears in a few hours, and it takes few days to disappear at all. Most patients return to their usual activities immediately after treatment.

Within a few weeks after the treatment, a general improvement in the humidity, structure and skin tone is evident. After three to six weeks, the development of new collagen and blood vessels begins, and within the next three to six months, lines and wrinkles disappear, and volume correction. The effects of the therapy can last up to two years, depending on the person. Although it has a long-term effect on the skin, it takes a certain amount of time for it to work.
