BREAST REDUCTION
Breast hypertrophy is an excessive breast volume. It can occur in puberty, and most often occurs in pregnant women and then in breastfeeding. PREOPERATIVE PREPARATION
General health check and basic laboratory analysis are mandatory for all patients. It would be preferable to stop smoking, and taking drugs and preparations that affect blood coagulation.

SURGERY
- Anesthesia: Breast reduction is done in general endotracheal anesthesia.
- Duration: Depending on the size and the chosen breast reduction technique, the surgical procedure lasts 120 – 240 minutes.
POSTOPERATIVE FLOW
Feelings of pain, pressure, swelling occur in the first days. The compressive bra is worn for 4 – 6 weeks, depending on the size of the breast and the technique used.

COMPLICATIONS
Complications may indicate bleeding, hematoma formation, swelling, outbursts, infections, and minor inequalities.
